REVIEW BY MALCOM QUINTRAL from the Northern Rivers, NSW.
"The narrative flows freely through the wonderland of Nature radiating vivid imagery of the wilderness, inhabited by an astonishing variety of freeborn creatures. Desmond Bishop raises issues that are vital to our survival by challenging the innate human imbecility that peace between enemies can only be achieved through violence and war. The actual solution in his story occurs through deep respect and wonder for the Ultimate Magic that is Nature. Also, this story has generous smatterings of sparkling humour: enough fun and nonsense to gladden the heart of any child or adult."
